Meet YouTrain at Upcoming Defence and XR Training Events

Over the past weeks, we have shared more about YouTrain, our mission, our values and the way we think about scalable XR training.

Now, we are looking forward to the part that matters just as much: meeting people in person.

Because some questions are difficult to answer from a screen.

How does XR training feel when you actually use it?
How close can a scenario come to real training conditions?
Where can digital preparation take pressure off instructors?
Which training steps can be repeated, adapted and measured?
And where does XR create real value for soldiers, operators, trainers and organizations?

These are the conversations we want to have at the upcoming fairs, conferences and defence technology events.

Why personal conversations matter

Technology is only useful when it fits the reality of training.

That reality is rarely simple. Training units work with limited time, limited equipment, instructor capacity, changing systems and high expectations. New skills have to be built quickly. Existing skills have to be maintained. Training needs to be safe, repeatable and close to operational conditions.

This is where XR can make a difference.

At YouTrain, we develop XR-based training solutions that help make training more scalable, consistent and measurable. Our focus is not on replacing real training. It is on preparing people better before live sessions, supporting instructors during training and helping organizations assess and retain skills afterwards.

What we would like to talk about

At these events, we want to speak with defence organizations, training units, technology partners, operators and instructors about practical XR training applications.

Especially around questions such as:

• How can basic training steps be prepared before live exercises?
• Where can instructors be relieved without lowering training quality?
• Which scenarios should be repeatable, measurable and adaptable?
• How can training be standardized across teams, locations and systems?
• Where does XR make sense for drone operations, tactical shooting, tactical driving or mission preparation?
• How can training results be assessed and used for future sessions?

For us, these discussions are valuable because they keep the focus where it belongs: on real training needs, not on technology for its own sake.
